Pre- SIP Launch. When one has been waking up at almost noon for a week, waking up at early at about 7pm proved to be kinda hard. Fortunately, i didnt miss my bus, if not i would have been late.
The launch was kinda helpful in some ways. Samples of written reports - both the bad and good were shown to us. Phrases like "Thank god", "i create law" never fail to generate lots of laughter in the LT. LOL~
Lawyers were invited to speak to us. I guess they sorta gave us positive encouragement and serve to calm down anxious students. We were divided into small groups and were put under the care and supervision of various liason officers , our lecturers.
Anyhow, collected the Coach wristlet i ordered few weeks back.
Pretty~

Met Xuan and we went for UniSIM Open-house. Got some brochures. University of Berkingham seemed not bad, under Xuan's recommendation. Shall do some research when the application is nearer.
Thereafter, we proceeded to Jurong Point for some retail therapy.
My first time there. Crowded! The area and crowd's definitely comparable to or not greater than Tampines, due to the extension.
Look at the crowd at the Jap food section!
Stomachs were growling. And so dinner was at this Jap cafe - Men-ichi, Japanese Ramen.
Interesting display outside their cafe~
We ordered this set - with Kimchi Ramen and Black pepper salmon rice. They are supposedly renowned for their ramen. The noodles' springy enough, but i didnt quite like the Kimchi soup base. Perhaps its due to me not being a fan of spicy food. Nothing too fantastic for the salmon rice bowl either.
A closer look at the Kimchi Ramen which Xuan definitely like it more than me~
With nothing much or perhaps nothing in mind to get, we definitely shop alot that day! If anything, retail therapy is the way to go.

Bought subway for lunch before heading home. Wasnt feeling quite well for the whole day. Rested lots.

Some updates for the past few weeks:
Admist the busy sch work with projects and exams, retail therapy never fails to cheer me up. (:
W595 Sony Erission phone which i had to get, as my Samsung phone was spoilt. Pretty phone~
Adidas jacket which i have always wanted~
Ralph Lauren tote for my school notes and books~

Longchamp Le Pilage medium bag for my upcoming internship~
Besides retail therapy, what's there not to love about food and friends?
On a day, i accompanied Samantha for her internship interview at Colin Ng's.
To sweeten our day, we had this chocolate-mango crepe. Though the outlook wasnt that great, it was nice!
Thereafter, we had dinner at this cafe at Liang Court.
Cheesy chicken chop on a hot-plate~ Not too bad~
Mushroom spaghetti which was quite ok too~
This iltalian bread which was nice~ Fluffy and light~
As we walked along the banks of Clark Quay to aid digestion, the night scene never fails to amaze us. Astounding~
Then we came across this cafe whereby they used wheelchairs as their seats for the customers. Cute idea~
On another day, i met up with Si and Mel for some catching-up and pressie-hunting.

Tea-break at this Jap cafe at City Link Mall.

Dessert was at Tom's Palette at Shaw Towers.
Look at the variety of flavours they have! They have many unique flavours like chocolate stout as well as all time favourites like rum-and-rasin etc. I totally love their ice-cream! $2.90 for 2 flavours, stuffed full to the brim of the cup! Yummy-licious!

Dinner was at this Thai Restaurant recommended by Mel. Nice food they have!
National Day, i met up with the girls - CT, MT, N, M for dinner at Vivo - Mr Mussels Guys. Despite the name, we didnt order any mussels. Anyway, the food wasnt that great, given its price.
Soup of the day for each one of us. Just another no-frills soup.

CT's fish and chips. The portion looked kinda big as compared to ours, which were to come later.
I wanted something light, and so i chose this - creamy mushroom spaghetti. Not too bad. M's dory fish. I didnt try it, so no comments. Lol~
MT and N's lamb and chicken set. According to them, the lamb wasnt seasoned properly which contributed to its musky smell.
Desserts was at Bakerzin.

Warm chocolate cake with a tinge of lavender, with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream. Chocolate oozes out when you sink your teeth into the fluffy cake, simply heavenly!
On another day, i tried this waffle with cheesecake ice-cream at Bakerzin.
Yes, it was good. The crispy warm waffle, with the cheesecake ice-cream which wasnt too overpowering. I simply love it!
Totally love Bakerzin's desserts!
On another day, i had dinner at this jap restaurant at Iluma.
Some of their food was good, though not fantastic. What's more interesting is their ordering method. You are given a pen and a menu with electronic icons next to it. Simply use the pen to click on the icons next to the food you wanted, click on the quantity, and when you are done, click 'send'. Voila, you are done ordering, and the waiter will bring your order list over to confirm.
But do be cafeful of their 'cancel' icon, cos you will cancel all the items you have painstackingly keyed in when you pressed the wrong button. Then you would have to key in all over again.

Curry udon. The noodles' Q enough, but not too much ingredients inside. Nice though~

Miso Ramen's good. The soup's flavourful and the noodles arent too bad either. I love it~

This fried squid wasnt good, oily and kinda hard. Old Chang Kee's tasted better!
Fried Goyza which were only so-so in my opinion.
Other day, i had lunch with Samantha at Tamp One - Say Cheeze.

I had always wanted to try that, and we did.
As the name suggests, their cheesecake should be good. We tried this lychee cheesecake. Quite nice, with a tinge of lychee.
However, their mains werent that good though.
French onion soup. First time trying it. Quite ok in my opinion.
My chicken chop. It tasted kinda weird. Not the usual kind of western chicken chop i normally eat. Somewhat it tasted kinda chinese. Weird.

Creamy mushrooms spaghetti wasnt too bad.
Somehow i had tried various creamy mushrooms spaghetti and haven found one which was really that good. I simply love mushrooms. Lol~
Recently, i met up with my sec sch girls - Si, Mel, XZ, Xuan, CY, HJ for some catching up.
We took pictures in the Arcade~ Lol~ Reminiscene of our childhood hahahs!
To end off this long post, here's a pic of my lovely girls!

Bon Voyage, Mel!

Met up with Veron for some shopping at Tampines.
Tried Pu Tian's Hi-Tea Buffet. Not too bad i think. Something different.

Clockwise: Cabbage and Pork fried rice, Pu Tian fried bun, cabbage, homemade fried tofu, spring roll, Chilli live mussels and carrot cake.
The lightly fried tofu is good - both of us love it. I love the carrot cake too, Yum~ Cabbage and pork fried rice's rather fragrant too.
Abundance of chilli live mussels on Veron's plate. I find it too spicy though.

Clockwise: Oyster cake, yam, siew mai, some veggy which i dont know, fried sweet potato, sliced pork, fried pork ribs and fried bee hoon.
The fried sweet potato's nice. The rest, were just normal.

Drunken cockles, which i didnt dare to eat as its raw. Veron had quite a few and commented that she liked them better than the mussels. The cockles are really fat though.

Pan-fried Gyoza which we can ordered - unlimited. Not very good in my opinion. The skin' kinda dry and hard.

Steamed bun stuffed with pork aka xiao long bao. Not very good either. The skin's kinda dry and thick too. The soup isnt very flavourful either.

Mixed mushroom soup. Quite tasteless in my opinion.

On the right is their lor mee while on the left is their homemade dry noodle. Not too bad. First time i ate such different kinda lor mee. Their homemade dry noodle reminds me of oyster mee sua. Lol~

One of their signature dessert - i love it. Its hot yam paste with ginko nut. Nice!
Other desserts we tried include mixed fruit delight - something like ice-jelly and white fungus with lotus seed.
Overall, i think its still quite alot of variety, considering the relatively affordable price of $13.
Photos taken with my w595 phone.
Home-ed.
